The downloadable file is for importing the school recommended Microsoft Internet Explorer favorites file. The favorites include school sponsored research tools, search engines as well as some web sites which are being used in the curriculum. To import the file, download the attachment to your Data drive:
1) Launch Internet explorer
2) Under the favorites Menu select "organize favorites"
3) Under the file Menu, select Import Favorites
4) Locate the file and select open.
5) Now under favorites you should see the research sites listed in folders.
For student research we recommend the following homepage:

1)To make it your homepage highlight and select the address above.
2) Under the Edit Menu select Preferences
3) On the left side, select the "Browser display" option under Web
Browser.
4) On the right side "paste" the address into the Homepage field.
Select the button underneath and it will open each time you launch the browser.
